A wide climate of slower economic growth in the U.S. and elsewhere did not deter bulls from returning to risk during the current month. Equities, indeed, netted healthy gains so far in September in total denial of historical reference. Russia’s geographic position defines a nation that cannot be easily defensible, due to the lack of rivers, oceans, mountains, even swamps or other natural aspects that would provide some sort of natural protection.
